Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Accounts Receivable Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of financial records. The successful candidate will keep accurate departmental records, ensuring invoices are generated when due and clients do not overpay for services rendered or goods delivered.
Please note:
This is a full-time, in-office position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Bluffton, SC office Monday through Friday.
- Process inventory and non-inventory invoice transactions to customers
- Issue customer credit transactions
- Daily reconciliation of posted transactions and collaborate within the department to maintain an orderly and comprehensive filing system
- Daily backup of work orders
- Calculate freight of customer shipments
- Execute routine financial data audits
- Assist with accounting projects within the department
- High School Degree Required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software or other accounting software is a plus, SAGE experience preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and data entry skills with great analytical skills to detect and resolve any issues with classifications
- Excellent communication, administrative, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to meet all assigned deadlines
- Work within a team environment to actively contribute and complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects
