Income AuditorSUMMARYThe Income Auditor is responsible for auditing transactions throughout the resort using various systems reports (i.e. Great Plains, Opera, Micros, Book4
Time, etc.) and issuing accurate daily revenue reports in a timely manner. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to:
Verify revenue postings against source systems on a daily basis
Ensure revenues posted are complete and properly classified
Audit all adjustments, complimentary postings, and credits issued
Review and reconcile payments between point of sale systems and financial processing systems
Generate accurate revenue reports to department managers and respond to manager’s questions
Train operational associates to understand the impact of their functions on the financial results of hotel operations
Assist with the month end close process
Prepare daily & monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with guest inquiries about charges from previous stays QUALIFICATIONS One to two years of Finance and Accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree Advanced skills in Word, Excel, property management systems, food & beverage point of sale systems, and Outlook; daily use of nearly all programs will occurPREFERREDLuxury hotel experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge and experience in using Great PlainsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and the United States we are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
