Job Description

Ivybrook Academy is currently seeking passionate preschool educators for the  school year at our Bluffton campus. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus on igniting their students’ joy of learning. A passion for children and a comprehensive knowledge of child development are required. We encourage applicants with diverse backgrounds and life experiences to apply.

• $18-20 per hour
• School year closely follows the public‑school calendar
• Performance bonuses
• 7:30 - 12:30 work hours (part‑time) or 7:30-4:30 (full‑time)
• Supportive and professional work environment

• Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
• Observe and evaluate each child’s progress
• Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
• Maintain communication with parents
• Be available for parent conferences
• Attend staff meetings, training, and school functions
• Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom
• Commit to continuing education

Priority given to those with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, and those who obtain their education degree within the first year of employment. Previous experience at a public, private or licensed school preferred.
