Middle Level Social Studies Teacher

• Drive Academic Success:
  Design and deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction aligned with South Carolina standards using data-driven differentiation and approved curricula.
• Manage Digital Tools:
  Maintain accurate, weekly updates in Power School and manage Google Classroom as a hub for students and families.
• Foster Culture & Inclusion:
  Create a clean, positive, high-energy learning space while ensuring full compliance with student IEP, 504, and FERPA requirements.
• Engage the “Wolf Pack”:
  Model servant leadership and a “whatever-it-takes” mindset through active participation in PLCs, team meetings, and continuous professional growth.
• Partner with Families:
  Maintain transparent, proactive communication with families, including a weekly newsletter sharing upcoming learning goals.

• Education & Certification:
  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid South Carolina Teaching License
• Compliance:
  Ability to pass a SLED criminal background check and provide a negative TB test.
• Skills & Abilities:
  Strong English communication, educational tech proficiency (Google Workspace, Power School), and physical mobility to actively manage a classroom.
