The role of a Banquet Houseman is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of events and banquets within a private club setting. Banquet servers play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to members and guests during events, weddings, meetings, and other special occasions hosted by the club.

Exclusive Events

Be part of the team that organizes and executes prestigious events that draw guests from far and wide. From gala dinners to extraordinary Club fine dining, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences.

• Set up tables, chairs, furniture, stages, and other decor and equipment according to event diagrams and specifications.
• Ensure all banquet spaces are clean, well-maintained, and prepared for scheduled events.
• Break down and clean up event spaces post-event, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
• Assist with setting up audio/visual equipment when necessary.
• Collaborate with the Banquet Manager, Member & Events Assistant Manager, and service staff to ensure timely and accurate event setups.
• Respond to last-minute event changes or requests, adjusting setup as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in banquet storage areas.
• Conduct inspections of banquet spaces prior to and after events to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization are met.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures for lifting, moving, and setting up equipment.
• Assist with serving members, running food, clearing tables, and any other food and beverage tasks as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in banquet or event setup preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed setup instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes calmly and efficiently.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
