Senior Windows Systems Administrator​/onsite in Bluffton, SC

A leading organization in the hospitality and resort industry is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join its infrastructure team in Bluffton, SC. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 5 days per week onsite. The organization is looking for a versatile infrastructure professional who thrives in smaller IT environments and enjoys owning a broad range of technologies including Windows Server, Azure, Entra , Microsoft 365, VMware, Fortinet firewalls, networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, storage, and data center operations.

This is an opportunity to serve as one of the most senior technical resources within the IT organization, partnering directly with executive leadership and a Lead Engineer to maintain and modernize mission‑critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will enjoy a highly visible role with significant technical ownership, project leadership responsibilities, and the ability to influence infrastructure strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, and long‑term technology roadmaps.

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
• 3+ years serving as a senior technical resource, lead engineer, or systems administrator
• Strong administration experience with Windows Server environments
• Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure experience
• Entra  (Azure Active Directory) administration
• Microsoft 365/O365 administration and support
• VMware vSphere and virtualization technologies
• Fortinet firewall administration and network security management
• Enterprise networking experience including routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure
• Active Directory and Group Policy administration
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance management
• Vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues
• Strong documentation, communication, and mentorship abilities
• Ability to work onsite in Bluffton, SC

• Experience working in smaller or lean IT environments where versatility is required
• Multi‑site infrastructure support experience
• Enterprise storage administration experience
• Data center operations and lifecycle management
• Incident response and cybersecurity investigation experience
• Infrastructure modernization and cloud migration project experience
