Maintenance Assistant – Full-Time
The Palmettos of Bluffton, Okatie, SC
Join our family-oriented team at The Palmettos of Bluffton! We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained. HVAC or maintenance experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance, repairs, and scheduled upkeep
Grounds care: mowing, planting, watering, weeding, and mulching
Painting, carpet cleaning, and custodial duties
Lift and move heavy furniture/equipment; run errands as needed
Inspect property and equipment for safety compliance
Coordinate work with other departments and be on call for emergencies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or technical school graduate
Ability to read manuals, follow safety regulations, and use basic computer skills
Maintenance experience preferred but not required
Team player with strong work ethic
