Med Tech alternating weekends

Position Overview

Med Tech Position – 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (alternating weekend duty). Full-time.

• Administer medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, bed baths, oral hygiene, dressing, and general house‑keeping.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Provide post‑mortem care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for assigned residents.
• Report any incomplete or issue tasks to the charge nurse.

• Certified Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in a nursing aide training program.
• Must obtain required medication technician training certificate.
• Experience in assisted living preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Understands and practices universal precautions.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret medication orders and assist with medication administration.
