PURPOSEBerkeley Hall Club is seeking a sophisticated and service-focused Server to provide an elevated dining experience for our members and guests. If you are passionate about delivering attentive, detail-oriented service in a private club environment, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities Personalized Guest Service- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating member and guest needs.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions with confidence and professionalism.
- Serve food and beverages with precision and elegance.
- Maintain a polished and professional demeanor throughout service.
- Ensure table settings and dining areas reflect club standards.
- Demonstrate and maintain thorough knowledge of the Clubhouse menu and daily features.
- Accurately and efficiently enter orders into the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in accordance with Health Code regulations.
- Support the kitchen and FOH team members as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
- Comply with all departmental and Club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in Hospitality: Previous experience in a bartending and serving role within a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a well-groomed and polished appearance that reflects the standards of our community.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with members and guests effectively. - Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of service meets our high standards.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our community thrives during these times.
- Must possess a current Serv Safe Alcohol Certification or be able to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
- Must adhere to all alcohol awareness and safety standards.
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 8 hours during shifts.
- Lifting and Carrying: Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, including trays, supplies, and equipment.
- Bending and Reaching: Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access supplies and equipment behind the bar or in the dining area.
- Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to efficiently handle bar tools and serve beverages.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
