As the Gatehouse Officer for Berkeley Hall Club, your primary role is to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. You will monitor access to the club and ensure that all programs and services align with the club's goals and objectives. Your vigilance and commitment to safety will be essential in promoting a positive experience for all members and guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES GATEHOUSE DUTIES:
Enforce procedural rules and regulations to ensure the safety of staff, members, visitors, and property.

Maintain security and safety in assigned areas.
:
Keep an updated understanding of the locations of various departments, buildings, access routes, and admission requirements.

Operate and monitor security control panels, alarms, and related equipment to ensure comprehensive surveillance.
:
Greet each guest entering the property, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Verify decals and identification of individuals entering the property, denying access to those without proper credentials, and explaining relevant rules and regulations.

Respond to routine incidents via radio, securing and protecting the scene of civil, criminal, or unusual events.

Contact police or fire departments in emergency situations, such as fires or unauthorized presence.

Answer telephone calls, take messages, and provide information during both business and non-business hours.

Write detailed reports of daily activities and any irregularities, including property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences.
:
Assist in the evacuation of buildings or areas during emergencies.
:
Support events such as member gatherings or parties, maintaining crowd control, providing directions, and directing traffic as needed.

Act as a resource for visitors and members of the Berkeley Hall community, offering assistance and information.

Perform other duties as assigned.
