Skills Required:

** The ideal candidate will possess strong general facilities maintenance skills; including, but not limited to:
* Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
* Electrical – 120/240 volt single and three phase
* Interior and exterior painting
* Carpentry* Drywall installation and repairs
* Appliance repair
* Plumbing* Sprinkler and fire alarm systems
** Physical Demands:
*** The ability to lift up to 50lbs
* Prolonged periods standing and walking
* Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
* Most of the day spent standing, much of which is on concrete floors
* Comfortable with heights
** Knowledge, Education, and Abilities:
*** High school diploma and trade school, or equivalent required
* A valid SC driver’s license
* Three years maintenance technician experience or related field preferred
* Certificate in HVAC and EPA Certification, building maintenance technology, plumbing or relevant field desirable
* Ability to safely follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
* Ability to contribute to a total team effort
* Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect
* Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work in varying temperature environments
* Be available for after-hours and weekend-on-call duties as requested
