Steel fixers Wanted - Northumberland

Rate: £23.00 per hour (CIS / Gross)

Duration:
Long-term, ongoing work

• Reading and interpreting structural engineering drawings and bending schedules.
• Setting out, cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh.
• Tying steel using hand tools/cutters to secure structures like foundations, retaining walls, and concrete slabs.
• Working safely and productively alongside the concrete and shuttering gangs to meet tight site schedules.

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 in Steel fixing preferred).
• Full PPE and your own reliable tools (nips/rebar cutters, belts, etc.).
• Proven experience as a Steel fixer on major commercial, civils, or house building frameworks.
• Reliable transport to get to site in Northumberland.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to site health and safety.
