We are seeking experienced Emergency Room RNs to join our Emergency Department.

Earn an additional $3.50 per hour for all hours worked between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.The emergency room RN utilizes the nursing process to identify and prioritize patient needs based on the severity of the patient's presenting signs, symptoms, medical and health condition. Reassessment is carried out in response to interventions including health teaching and patient response to learning.

The emergency room RN is expected to promote the mission, vision and values of the organization and comply with standards established in the Nurse Practice Act for the State of California and the standards for maintaining patient safety, which includes consistently meeting state and federal standards. The ED RN is expected to consistently implement strategies and activities designed to promote a positive patient experience and to achieve a Culture of Safety within the organization.##

Qualifications###

* Required Qualifications:

**** RN I:**|  |  || --- | --- ||
* Current, valid and unrestricted licensure in the state of California.
* BSN preferred
* Current BLS and ACLS certification.
* Current PALS or ENPC Certification |
* ** Option 1:
** Minimum of one (
*
* 1) year of experience in an acute care or critical access facility** (preferred),    
** or
* * at least
** 6 months of experience in an emergency room (ER) or related setting****.
** Additionally, must successfully complete the
** ENA T
**** riage*
* ** Course within 6 months of hire****.*
* ** OR**
* ** Option 2:
** Minimum of two (
*
* 2) years’ experience as a Level 1 RN in a Basic Emergency
**** Department.** |
** RN II:**|  |  || --- | --- ||
* Current, valid and unrestricted licensure in the state of California.
* BSN preferred
* Current PALS or ENPC
* TNCC or ATCN preferred
* Current BLS and ACLS certification. |
* Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a basic emergency room setting.
* Proof of successful completion of The ENA Triage Course, or within 45 days of hire. |
** RN III:**|  |  || --- | --- ||
* Current, valid and unrestricted licensure in the state of California.
* BSN preferred
* Current PALS or ENPC
* Current BLS and ACLS certification.
* TNCC or ATCN preferred
* Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a basic emergency room setting. |
