City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students in partner schools
• Deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects
• Build positive, mentoring relationships with students
• Track and report on student progress and attendance data
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff on student support plans
• Support classroom routines, school-wide events, and after-school programs
• Communicate regularly with teammates and City Year staff
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development
• Uphold City Year's commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice
• Engage families and community partners to support student success
