Safety Coordinator

Marathon Staffing is currently hiring a Safety Coordinator in your area.

Shift Monday – 1 st Shift plus mandatory overtime

Payrate $20 to $29

The Field Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting, implementing, and monitoring safety programs across job sites to ensure a safe working environment. This role provides on-site support to field teams, conducts inspections, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.

• Safety Compliance & Oversight
• Monitor job sites to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and local/state requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors; recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors follow established safety guidelines.

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and job‑specific training to field staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees on safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication between field crews, supervisors, and management regarding safety concerns.
• Respond to and investigate incidents, near‑misses, and injuries.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support return‑to‑work processes and maintain accurate safety documentation.

• Maintain safety logs, training records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in preparing reports for management, regulatory agencies, and internal audits.
• Track safety metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide guidance on safe work practices, PPE usage, and hazard mitigation.
• Participate in job‑site planning meetings to review safety requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness, including drills and response coordination.
