Collaborating with site management and reporting to the Facilities Safety Manager, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding employees, colleagues, and the public. This dynamic position is deemed 'safety sensitive,' highlighting the critical nature of your responsibilities in maintaining a hazard‑free workplace.

• Audit the shop to ensure safe work performance and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records as required by OSHA and company policy.
• Investigate job related injuries and accidents. Complete required incident investigation reports and assist claims personnel with claim resolution.
• Provide first aid to employees for work-related injuries.
• Perform safety orientations and weekly safety meetings to ensure compliance. Performs various types of safety related training.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
• This role is NOT a travel position nor eligible for per diem pay

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or construction experience with a recognized safety certification. Must have an OSHA 30 certification.
• Must have CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
• Must have good oral communication skills and be able to conduct safety meetings.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
• A current driver’s license with a good driving history is required.

• Overtime, weekend work, odd hours, and overnight travel on occasion.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull 25 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations and a dusty, loud environment.
• Must be able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations and medical trauma in a calm, controlled manner.
