The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes. This role performs skilled electrical work in commercial, industrial, and/or facility environments while ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and compliance with all regulations. The Journeyman Electrician may guide apprentices and assist in planning electrical projects. Pay: $25.00- $30.00/ hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.

A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

* Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific).

* 4+ years of electrical experience, including apprenticeship.

* Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).

* Proficiency with electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.

Electrical Installation & Repair

* Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform system diagnostics.

* Install wiring, conduits, lighting, circuits, panels, and control systems.

* Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards.

Maintenance & Safety

* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects.

* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.

* Adhere to OSHA, NFPA 70E, and all company safety procedures.

* Use appropriate PPE and ensure a safe work environment at all times.

Project Support

* Assist in planning project layouts and determining materials needed.

* Work with contractors, facility teams, and project managers to complete assignments.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

* Provide guidance and direction to electrical apprentices as needed.

Customer Service & Communication

* Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and team members.

* Provide explanations of repairs, issues, and recommendations.

* Represent the company professionally at all times.
