Skid​/Pallet Builder; Carpenter; 3rd shift

Pay

Starting rate is $20.00 per hour; could be eligible for more based on experience.

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 pm – 6:30 am, with overtime as required.

• Build Skids:
  Builds skids and pallets according to Majestic Steel and/or customer specifications, operates lift trucks to transport, store, and stage materials within the service center.
• Maintain Safety:
  Performs daily lift truck inspections, moves up and down from lift truck, and reports any equipment issues.
• Support Team Efforts:
  Works collaboratively with team to meet goals, contributes to housekeeping procedures, and completes additional job‑related responsibilities as assigned.

• Experience:
  
  Experience with hand tools, including up‑cut saw and circular saw.
• Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes and procedures, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount and dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of lift truck operation experience.
• Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more).
