Material Handler

Job Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, responsible for picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
• Operates standard warehouse equipment to ensure efficient material handling.
• Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walk‑ie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
• Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Regular, full‑time onsite attendance is required.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Problem‑solving ability to address warehouse challenges.
• High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards.
