HVAC​/Maintenance Technician

Reporting to the Director of Facilities & Maintenance, you will ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and TJC-compliant. You will be responsible for the expert repair of HVAC and boiler systems across all locations.

• HVAC & Mechanical:
  Monitor, inspect, and repair HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and medical gas/vacuum systems.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Maintain logs for OR temperatures, air exchanges, and humidity. Ensure all work meets TJC, Ohio Department of Health, and OSHA standards.
• Preventative Maintenance:
  Conduct building rounds, penthouse walkthroughs, oxygen manifold testing (PM), and liquid oxygen tank checks.
• Emergency Response:
  Respond promptly to fire alarms, facility codes, and emergency maintenance requests.
• General Maintenance:
  Complete general work orders (moving equipment, light plumbing/electrical), manage supply deliveries, and handle seasonal grounds care (snow removal/salting).
• On-Call:
  Participate in a rotating call 2 months out of the year.

• Experience: Proven training in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Certification: HVAC Certification preferred.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record and a reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
• Soft Skills: Strong prioritization skills with the ability to work independently, maintain a professional demeanor, and communicate effectively.
• Availability: Flexible for variable shifts and on-call duties.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift.
