IT Network Support Tech Lvl II
This position is in Alabama and is fully on-site. This position involves traveling between different campuses within the county and surrounding counties. There is travel reimbursement. This position is required to take call on a rotating schedule after six months of employment.
ResponsibilitiesThe IT Network Support Tech Lvl II supports the hospital's technology infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, peripheral devices, and related equipment. It also includes installing, updating, and problem solving common software and application issues tracked within a ticketing system. Historically, this role does not evolve into a networking or network admin career path. Working as a cohesive asset to the I.T. Department, this role ensures that all hardware systems function effectively to support clinical, financial, and administrative operations.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, takes initiative, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment in a healthcare setting.
EDUCATION:
High School GED, High School Diploma, College AS or BS
Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate to the degree required to perform the job.
Displays positive, cooperative, diplomatic, motivated attitude.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work as a team member in all activities.
Adaptability to stressful, ever changing situations.
Preferred Experience:
Computer Imaging, Printer troubleshooting, Microsoft Office Skills, Ticketing System, Active Directory, Email usage and problem solving.
