Neonatal CLN NP PA Clinic - PRN - Varies shift

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal function of the job and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements inherent in the position.

Acts as a collaborative member of the clinic team in providing continuity and quality patient care. The Nurse Practitioner will work interdependently with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, maintenance, and rehabilitative health care. The Nurse Practitioner will independently participate in delivering optimal patient care within the scope of authority granted by the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners.

Requirements:

• Accredited by Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current License in Alabama.
• Previous experience in a physician office setting is preferred but not required.
• CPR and first-aid certified.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
