Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

Description

Growing, driven professional services organization, PE backed is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting and analysis.

This role will serve as the senior accounting lead onsite and will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, managing the month-end close, and driving process improvements in a dynamic, revenue-diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee month-end close and all general ledger activity

+ Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

+ Manage AR and AP functions, including vendor and revenue oversight

+ Handle deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets

+ Serve as primary contact for external auditors

+ Contribute to financial reporting and analysis (Excel-based)

+ Analyze revenue trends by customer, product, and service line

+ Lead process improvements and optimize accounting systems

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

+ CPA preferred but not required

+ 4-5+ years of accounting experience (3+ with Big 4 background)

+ Audit background strongly preferred

+ Strong Excel skills required

+ Experience managing close process and working with external auditors

+ Systems aptitude and process improvement mindset
