Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This position involves managing customer invoices, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts receivable processes and a proven ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Responsibilities:

- Process and post invoices to the correct customer accounts with precision and attention to detail.

- Maintain organized and accurate records of all receivable transactions.

- Handle commercial collections and cash applications efficiently.

- Communicate effectively with internal customers to resolve billing inquiries.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage accounts and generate reports.

- Ensure compliance with established billing procedures and company policies.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing.

- Provide exceptional support in managing customer accounts and addressing concerns. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes and billing functions.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

- Familiarity with commercial collections and cash applications.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of work.

- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal customers.

- Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.

- History of stable job tenure with a focus on professionalism.
