Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing financial records, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in data entry. Responsibilities:

- Batch and compile checks for search fees and prepare them for submission to the appropriate office.

- Enter financial data into Ramquest and ensure all records are up-to-date and correct.

- Scan and ship financial documents to designated locations as required.

- Maintain detailed and organized records for reconciliation and reporting purposes.

- Follow up on outstanding checks and ensure timely entry into the system.

- Respond to inquiries regarding financial transactions and provide necessary documentation.

- Assist with assembling and delivering escrow documents as part of daily operations.

- Use software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and Oracle to streamline accounting processes.

Requirements

- Skilled in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and account reconciliation.

- Ability to work with Excel formulas and functions to manage financial data effectively.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Prior experience with Ramquest or similar systems is a plus.

- Ability to work onsite during designated hours and handle overtime when required.
