Staff Accountant

The Interim Staff Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data across multiple functional areas. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. The successful candidate will support the accounting team in executing core reporting and month‑end close activities while ensuring compliance with internal policies and established accounting principles.

• Collaborate with department leaders to validate the accuracy and completeness of all financial reporting activities.
• Assist in preparing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with corporate deadlines.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules aligned with the monthly close calendar.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to management.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts and maintain proper documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured, fast‑paced environment
