Withum is seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming academic year to join our Audit team as part of the November 2026 class
. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals and gain hands‑on experience in financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and client engagements across a broad range of industries.

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
• Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with GAAS through inquiry, observation, and review
• Prepare detailed work papers to support audit procedures
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data
• Contribute to larger audit engagements and take ownership of smaller ones as your skills grow
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify audit issues
• Use audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency
• Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: 150 credit hours and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm
• Detail‑oriented with strong critical thinking skills
• Team‑oriented with a desire to learn and grow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with audit software is a plus

For positions in California, New York City, and Washington, the salary range is $78,000–$85,000
, based on role, location, and individual qualifications. Withum also offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
