Senior Accounts Payable Administrator
This position has overall responsibility for timely review and accurate payment processing of all Account Payable (A/P) invoices. The role requires good customer service skills to resolve vendor payment issues or inquiries in a timely manner and to support the Team Leader with payment issue resolution and posting of invoices processed by team members.
Primary Responsibilities- Communicates effectively with other departments regarding land and site owner issues.
- Ensures all domestic and international landlord's invoices and payments are processed timely and accurately and that they meet the purchase order requirements and/or have the proper approval to enable payment.
- Codes and prepares any miscellaneous check requests submitted as needed.
- Ensures policies and procedures are followed, including tax requirements in every country of operation.
- Addresses landowner and site owner inquiries in a timely manner.
- Reviews invoice errors and assists the team leader with issue resolution.
- Uses the Company A/P system to process void transactions, purchase order returns, reversal of transactions, review and reconcile batches.
- Performs regular research necessary regarding open aging items.
- Accurately completes or performs peer review of data entries.
- Prepares reconciliations, statistical and Ad Hoc reports as required.
- H.S. Diploma/GED required, Associate's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience with a company operating in an international environment preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency working with Dynamics D365 preferred.
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel or crouch; ability to stand, walk and sit; ability to reach with hands and arms. Visual ability correctable to 20/20. Sitting up to 90% of the day. Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone. Manual dexterity to input data into the computer and the calculator and operate the equipment listed above.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Office/Cubicle workspace. Moderate noise level.
