Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, and assisting with the close process. This individual will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Record and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across financial accounts
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for management
• Assist with audits and respond to documentation requests
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
