Job Overview
Title:
Fund Accountant – Fund Accounting, Private Equity, Real Estate. Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.
Location:
Hybrid; office in Annapolis, DC, or Baltimore. Full‑time permanent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Deep knowledge of best practices in accounting and financial management.
- Familiarity with fund accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, payables coding, and foreign exchange calculations.
- Experience with Yardi or equivalent software is a must.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and aptitude for numbers.
- Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a firm grasp of details.
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
