Mod Med is seeking a Manager, Accounting – Revenue who will be responsible for overseeing revenue accounting, reporting, and analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), and alignment with business objectives. This role partners cross‑functionally to translate commercial activity into reliable financial outcomes while leading and developing a high‑performing revenue accounting team.

Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including review of customer contracts, amendments, and complex arrangements; ensure appropriate accounting treatment and documentation.

Manage revenue‑related close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of management and external reporting.

Partner with FP&A and business leaders to support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of specialty‑level KPIs such as ARR, churn, and net revenue retention.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk on deal structuring, pricing changes, and contract reviews to ensure revenue accuracy and compliance.

Mentor, and review the work of revenue accountants and analysts; set priorities, provide feedback, and support career development.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors on revenue matters; maintain and enhance internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable.

Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and reporting; support M&A, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum: 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with revenue exposure
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with Net Suite and BI/forecasting tools (preferred)
• Proven leadership and cross‑functional influence
• Preferred: 3–5+ years in SaaS or technology companies; prior audit experience
• CPA and Public Accounting experience, preferred
