Corporate Accountant

We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join a growing corporate accounting team. This role will be responsible for the month-end close, consolidations, financial reporting, and day-to-day corporate accounting activities for multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the corporate month-end close process and related accounting activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting work papers.
• Record and consolidate financial activity across multiple entities.
• Review consolidated financial results for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement support schedules.
• Assist with financial analysis and monthly variance reporting.
• Manage intercompany and corporate expense allocations.
• Review invoices and ensure proper coding of corporate expenditures.
• Monitor corporate cash activity, including bank deposits, wire transfers, and daily cash balances to support cash forecasting.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and leverage technology.
• Participate in special projects and other ad hoc assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with corporate accounting, consolidations, or multi-entity reporting.
• Strong understanding of the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset with an interest in leveraging technology to enhance accounting processes.
