We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a CPA looking for career growth, mentorship, and a collaborative, family-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 709 & 990
- Prepare/review payroll and sales tax returns
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle reconciliations, adjusting entries, depreciation/amortization, and payroll journal entries
- Communicate with clients regarding tax and accounting matters
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Support and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license required
- 5–8+ years of accounting and tax experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop/Online and Excel
- Experience with tax software;
Lacerte is a plus - Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and client-service skills
