Payroll Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with UKG experience to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This role will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process payroll for employees on a weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly basis

+ Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments

+ Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end close activities

+ Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy

+ Respond to employee questions related to pay, taxes, and deductions

+ Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance

+ Partner with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies

+ Utilize UKG for payroll processing, reporting, and record maintenance

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of payroll experience

+ Hands-on experience with UKG payroll systems

+ Knowledge of payroll laws, tax with holdings, and garnishments

+ Strong Excel and payroll reconciliation skills

+ High attention to detail and confidentiality

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in a multi-state payroll environment

+ CPP certification is a plus

+ Experience supporting audits and payroll reporting
