Junior Staff Accountant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our finance team at our corporate headquarters. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a large, fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities
- Help maintain accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
- Prepare reports and schedules for internal management
- Support audits by gathering requested financial documentation
- Partner with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other departments to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
