Job Description Senior Accountant Overview The Senior Accountant role focuses on journal entries, cost analysis, and reconciliations for assigned business areas.

Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Perform balance sheet analyses and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.

Assist in developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned cost centers.

Maintain fixed assets within the SAP Fixed Asset module, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Provide schedules and documentation for external audits during interim and year-end periods.

Document policies, procedures, and controls to support Sarbanes-Oxley implementation.

Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and company policies, including compliance training and documentation.

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities & Duties Post monthly journal entries and analyze variances in costs for assigned areas.

Prepare expense analysis to identify trends and resolve unusual fluctuations.

Collaborate with operational departments to summarize financial impacts of activities.

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and address variances.

Develop and maintain annual budgets and forecasts in BPC for cost centers.

Manage fixed assets using SAP Fixed Asset module and ensure compliance.

Support external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation.

Educate operational departments on accounting policies and procedures.

Senior Accountant

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.

Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.

Proficiency in SAP or Tier I ERP applications, Excel, and Word.

Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential.

Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley policies and compliance requirements.
