Document Control Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a temporary QA Document Control Specialist to support documentation and administrative processes within a Quality Assurance environment. This role is responsible for creating, revising, formatting, and maintaining controlled documents and supporting document workflows across multiple departments.

• Create, format, revise, and proofread controlled documents, including SOPs, forms, and validation documents
• Support document approval, distribution, and obsolescence processes
• Maintain controlled document files in electronic and physical systems
• Assist with documentation inventory, retention, and destruction schedules
• Enforce access controls for secured documents
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and ordering supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of experience in document control, quality assurance, administrative support, or data/document management
• Familiarity with document management systems (DMS), SOPs, or regulated environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
