Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Guest Experience
- Welcome, assist, and guide Business Office visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Manage and maintain an inviting reception area, including the lobby, kitchen, and nearby work spaces
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members
- Provide administrative assistance to Business Office and Human Resources staff
- Support a positive, collaborative work environment and assist with projects as needed
- Process payments from students, families, and staff, including credit card transactions
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash
- Manage the archive database and process archived documents per established policies
- Prepare check logs, deposits, and journal entries at the direction of the Controller
- Assist with reconciliations and provide backup support for accounts payable
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Business Office leadership
- Associate's degree in a financial field or a combination of relevant education and experience
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions
