Overview
Support the Rales JFS by assisting with day‑to‑day office tasks that help keep our programs running smoothly. Responsibilities may include answering phones, returning volunteer inquiries, organizing files, preparing materials, and updating the volunteer database.
This role is perfect for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, has admin experience, and enjoys working in a friendly office environment while contributing to meaningful community work.
We are currently seeking dedicated and detail‑oriented volunteers to support an important outreach initiative for the preparation of the upcoming hurricane season.
Volunteers will assist by calling our clients to help sign them for supplies. This role is a great opportunity to make a direct impact while connecting with members of our community in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities- Answer phones
- Return volunteer inquiries
- Organize files
- Prepare materials
- Update the volunteer database
- Call clients and assist with sign‑ups
- Enter and update information in Excel and Google Docs
- Provide a friendly, patient, and professional experience for each client
- Comfortable speaking on the phone
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Documents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
