POSITION SUMMARYReceptionists are required to answer and transfer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner. All incoming calls must be filtered, and information gathered from the caller is used to transfer the call appropriately. Calls come from existing clients, potential new clients, medical providers, insurance companies, judges’ offices, and other attorney offices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Answer incoming calls.
- Filter calls promptly and accurately according to caller needs.
- Use our computer/internet system to search for cases and files.
- Transfer calls.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Full‑time, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
- Available to work some holidays.
- High school or GED diploma required.
- Prior experience as a receptionist and/or in a customer‑service role.
- Bilingual (preferred, but not required).
- Legal experience, including client interaction, preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and co‑workers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
