Job Description SummaryMod Med is seeking a Head of Procurement to help develop and execute a global, multi‑year strategic sourcing and procurement strategy. This role will ensure supply chain continuity, maximize cost savings across all spend categories (direct and indirect), manage supplier risk, and drive a competitive advantage for the business.
Your Role- Streamline the execution of vendor contracts, implement procurement policies to mitigate risk, and develop a strategic procurement plan for a growing SaaS company.
- Primary decision authority over day‑to‑day procurement operations, supplier management, procurement policy enforcement, and team leadership & internal operations.
- Recommend to senior leadership on strategic/enterprise‑level spend decisions, major contract awards above the delegation threshold, supplier risk & compliance, and budget impacts.
- Hold self and others accountable to deliver successful outcomes.
- Understand the industry, business, and customers to positively impact the organization.
- Build strong, positive relationships internally and externally and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 to 15+ years of progressive procurement experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership/director role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS/AI emerging technologies.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar recognized professional qualification.
