Estimator, Building Envelope Concrete Restoration

The Estimator, Building Envelope Concrete Restoration is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. This position is responsible for reviewing project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for concrete restoration and building envelope work. The estimator collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field teams to develop accurate scopes of work, request and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, and ensure competitive, comprehensive proposals.

Daily tasks include site visits to assess existing conditions, documenting findings, preparing budgets, and updating cost models as project information evolves. The role also involves participating in client meetings, supporting bid presentations, and working with operations teams to ensure estimates align with project schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Strong estimating and construction management skills related to concrete restoration, façade repair, and waterproofing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools (e.g., Procore or similar platforms).
• Ability to conduct site assessments, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop detailed cost breakdowns.
• Solid understanding of building envelope systems, restoration methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, project teams, and vendors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant experience in commercial construction or specialty contracting; concrete restoration experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
