This role is instrumental in telling the story of our mission, shaping how our community sees itself, and ensuring that every piece of communication, from campaigns to events to digital experiences reflects excellence, clarity, and heart.

This position requires a blend of artistic vision, technical mastery, and professional discipline. The Graphic Designer will drive the look and feel of Federation communications, steward our brand identity, and create visually compelling designs that inspire action and deepen community connection.

This role supports major campaigns, drives the consistency and evolution of our brand, and ensures that our visual storytelling remains fresh, impactful, and mission aligned.

Working closely with marketing colleagues, internal clients, leadership, and external partners, the designer will bring ideas to life from concept through final production, helping strengthen our brand, elevate donor and community engagement, and amplify the Federation’s message throughout South Palm Beach County and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-impact designs across campaigns, marketing materials, digital platforms, presentations, and branded experiences
  • Transform strategy and messaging into compelling visual narratives

  • Build and update brand guidelines, templates, and design systems
  • Conduct periodic brand audits to ensure consistency and quality
  • Explore new design approaches to keep the brand fresh and competitive
Project & Workflow Management
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Translate complex or ambiguous briefs into clear creative direction
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Plan workloads, estimate timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively
Advanced Design & Innovation
  • Produce motion graphics, simple animations, or interactive elements (as needed)
  • Contribute visual direction to UX/UI initiatives
  • Experiment with emerging tools and creative technologies
  • Conduct ongoing visual trend research to inspire new ideas
Quality Control & Production
  • Oversee final production files for both print and digital output
  • Ensure accuracy in color, formatting, technical specs, and vendor requirements
  • Maintain standards of excellence across all deliverables
Stakeholder Communication
  • Support leadership with visually compelling presentations and creative storytelling
  • Communicate timelines, challenges, and project status proactively and professionally
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an in-house marketing team, agency, or creative department
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Experience with project management tools ( or similar)
  • Knowledge of print production workflows, digital output, and Mac OS
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to bring ideas from sketch to final execution
  • Motion design or video editing experience (After Effects, Premiere) strongly preferred
  • Experience art-directing or supporting photo and video shoots
  • Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML/CSS) a plus
  • The ability to collaborate, take direction, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects
Why You Should Work Here
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Generous paid time off, including all major Jewish holidays
  • A collaborative culture fueled by purpose, creativity, and impact
  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities to expand your skills
  • The chance to use your artistic talent to help strengthen Jewish life locally and globally

This is more than a design role, it’s an opportunity to shape how a community sees, feels, and engages with its mission.
