Position Summary
The Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor of Anglophone Literature for the Department of English. Duties and responsibilities revolve around teaching, research, and service in U.S. World Anglophone Literature.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate courses in English and Creative Writing.
- Mentor graduate students and provide academic advising.
- Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Comparative Studies.
- Participate in FAU’s Certificate Programs in Asian Studies, Ethnic Studies, Classical Studies, Peace, Justice and Human Rights, Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Sexuality and Gender Education.
- Remote or distance‑learning instruction may be required.
- Ph.D. degree in English, Comparative Literature, or a related field.
