E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is recruiting for a key faculty leadership role. The Associate Dean will oversee student affairs, admissions, and financial aid, leading a team that supports medical students from recruitment through graduation and match.

• Lead an integrated portfolio supporting medical students from recruitment and admissions through progression, key milestones, match, and graduation.
• Strengthen the Office of Student Affairs as the central hub for support and guidance, ensuring a cohesive, student‑centered experience.
• Align student affairs programming with the curriculum and medical education leadership.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team, clarifying roles and providing professional growth opportunities.
• Establish effective relationships with institutional partners and represent the college with internal and external stakeholders.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Credentials that merit appointment at the rank of associate or full professor.
• At least five years of experience in undergraduate medical education.
• Florida medical license or eligibility for Florida licensure, board eligibility or certification (preferred).
• At least five years of experience in medical student affairs and recruitment (preferred).
