PART-TIME EXPLOREMORE CLUB PROGRAM FACILITATOR
$25 Hourly | Approximately 5–10 Hours Weekly | Boca Raton Area
Do you love working with children? Are you creative, energetic, and looking for a part-time opportunity that makes a real difference?
Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is seeking Part-Time Explore More Club Program Facilitators to lead engaging after school enrichment clubs for elementary school students at partner schools in the Boca Raton area. Through hands-on activities focused on art, animals, and storytelling, you'll help children build confidence, creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while creating an environment where every child feels welcome and encouraged to learn.
The best part? You don't need to be an artist, scientist, or professional storyteller. We provide everything you need to be successful, including paid training, detailed facilitator guides, lesson plans, participant materials, and ongoing support. We're looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and are excited to bring energy and enthusiasm to every session.
Explore More Clubs are seven-week after school enrichment programs offered throughout the school year. Facilitators commit to one program schedule serving either Grades K-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Grades 3-5 on Wednesdays and Fridays, or both groups/schedules if available. Paid training is provided before each program session at Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Headquarters in Lake Worth.
Program topics include:
- Art: August-October 2026
- Animals: October-December 2026
- Storyteller: January-February 2027
As an Explore More Club Program Facilitator, you'll lead small groups of elementary-aged children through interactive activities designed to inspire creativity, build life skills, and encourage a love of learning. You'll also complete simple attendance records, weekly reports, and timesheets while working independently with support from your supervisor.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and passionate about helping children succeed. The ideal candidate enjoys creating positive learning experiences, communicates well with children and adults, and is comfortable following prepared curriculum while adding their own enthusiasm and personality to each session.
If you're looking for meaningful part-time work where you can make an immediate impact in the lives of children, we'd love to meet you.
What else will you need?
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least one year of experience working with elementary-aged youth.
- Ability to pass and maintain eligibility for employment following a Level 2 fingerprint-based background check and motor vehicle check.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to partner school locations in the Boca Raton area.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and other online platforms.
- Bilingual (Spanish or French) is a plus, but not required.
