Learning Coach, Alpha

The curriculum is already designed. The AI already handles content delivery. Your role is to help a child believe in capabilities they never knew they had.

At Alpha, students finish their academic coursework in only two hours per day through adaptive learning systems. This gives Guides the freedom to focus on transformational work: cultivating confidence, grit, communication skills, and the drive to embrace difficult challenges. You won t find yourself presenting lessons from the front of a room. Instead, you ll be coaching students through obstacles, recognizing achievements, and demonstrating what rigorous standards look like when combined with authentic support.

You ll guide one K‑3 cohort band—either Kindergarten‑1st grade or 2nd‑3rd grade. Half of your time goes toward facilitating dynamic, one‑hour workshops focused on life skills such as public speaking, concentration, and receiving feedback. The remaining half involves coaching students both individually and in small groups, leveraging learning analytics to ensure each child progresses toward challenging weekly objectives. Every moment counts.

Students should emerge from your workshops more skilled than when they entered and leave your coaching sessions with expanded belief in their own potential.

This is a full‑time, on‑site position at one of Alpha s campuses. We conduct national recruitment, so job postings may appear in neighboring cities without a campus location.

• Facilitate dynamic life‑skills workshops that guide K‑3 students toward mastery of communication, concentration, feedback reception, and other enduring skills through hands‑on engagement rather than traditional instruction.
• Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group coaching, utilizing Coachbot analytics, established motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure every child remains on course for challenging weekly learning targets.
• Evaluate life‑skill proficiency using Alpha s Test2
  
  Pass system, continuing to coach students until they show genuine mastery—not merely attendance.
• Tailor your coaching approach to meet the developmental requirements of your cohort, which might include songs, physical activity, and narratives for younger students or increased autonomy and responsibility for older ones.
• Establish relationships in which students feel sufficiently supported to push beyond their perceived limitations.

• Creating curriculum materials from the ground up. You ll refine and customize established playbooks rather than designing lessons independently.
• Observing students as they work quietly on devices. Your function is hands‑on coaching, encouragement, and engagement.
