Entry Level Roadway Engineer​/Engineering Designer

HSQ is seeking a n Entry Level Roadway/Civil Engineer or Engineering Designer with experience in roadway 3D m odeling to support transportation projects within the r oadway department. The ideal candidate will assist with plans production through the project lifecycle , from m aster plan through f inal plans , for projects ranging from intersection improvements to large corridor designs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
  or 2 years of relevant experience with EI/EIT
• Proficiency in 3D modeling roadway, drainage, and utility designs in Bentley Open Roads
• Experience preparing roadway plans, profiles, and cross sections
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across various disciplines (Utilities, Drainage, Signing & Marking, etc.)

• Experience with utility coordination, responding to agency comments, and attending project meetings
• Familiarity with FDOT standards and procedures
• Familiarity with drainage analysis , stormwater reports, and permitting
• Knowledge of automation tools within Bentley Open Roads
