CDM Smith is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Construction Management activities full-time on project sites. This person will be responsible for construction administrative duties, schedule reviews, submittal coordination, and project meetings.

CDM Smith is looking for a Civil Engineering Construction Management new professional to join our team! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry-leading engineers and construction managers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. This position would support various projects both in the field and the office. Field support could possibly include field verifications, witness testing, or site visits.

Office support may include preparing contract documents, bid verifications, checking contractor drawings, reviewing contractor schedules and pay applications, preparing change orders, and general construction administration assistance. You will primarily support the construction manager, project manager, or project coordinator. Performs other duties as required. May create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 1 year of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Able to obtain Engineer-in-Training and pursing a Professional Engineering license
