Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

East Coast Valet is seeking Full and Part Time Valet Parking Attendants in the Pompano Beach, FL Area. ECV is based in Lantana, FL and has been providing services to various locations in Southern Florida since 1990.

We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants who can work a mix of day and evening shifts. Availability and detailed needs can be discussed at interview.

Pay:
Rate + Tip. Base pay is $18/hour; with additional tips earned, you can expect to earn $19–$20/hour on average.

Hours of service: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM. ECV offers weekly payroll; employees may receive a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week in addition to daily tips.

Full-time employees receive medical and dental insurance (50/50 split after 90 days) and additional vacation time.

General purpose
:
The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist customers, park their vehicles, and be a visible representative of the establishment. After parking the vehicle, the attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron.

• Be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management.
• Have your own transportation and driving experience.
• Have experience working in customer service.
• Be over the age of 18.
• Hold a valid Class D license for at least one year prior to applying.
• Provide a driving record at the time of application; the license must be kept in good standing for the duration of employment.

• Stand at least 8 hours a day.
• Run up to 50 times a day or more.
• Enter and exit customers' vehicles 75 or more times daily.
• Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, and gifts in and out of customers' vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Work is outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc.) will significantly impact employees' work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather; all employees must attend scheduled shifts and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.

• All employees must undergo a criminal records check.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must have a neat appearance and a good attitude.
• All employees are hired on a 30-day trial period. If during that time the employee does not perform duties to the satisfaction of management, they can be terminated without cause.
• All employees will train for four shifts. During this time they will not receive tips but will receive a higher pay rate as compensation.
